Amino, the IP/Cloud video software and device specialist, has strengthened its Latin American presence with the appointment of a new regional sales director.
Matias Gonzalez brings many years’ experience of working with cable and satellite operators across the region. He will focus on new and established customer relationships, introducing Amino’s enhanced solutions portfolio with a particular emphasis on the company’s Android TV capabilities.
The Caribbean and Latin America is a key growth market for Amino which now has a strong regional presence, having worked with national and regional operators including Telsur, Digicel, GTD and Entel for several years.
Amino SVP Sales and Marketing David Perez said: “Matias brings great experience and expertise to the team with an in-depth knowledge of our market and the transition to IP-based service delivery in the satellite and cable industries. We look forward to him helping build on the strong presence we have in the region and the trusted relationships we have with our network operator customer base.”
Matias added: “Amino has an exciting and distinctive offering – particularly around Android TV - for operators in the region and I look forward to working with my new colleagues on telling our story to new and existing customers. Latin America is a thriving and changing market and I believe Amino is well positioned to capitalise on growth opportunities in the region.”
Based in Buenos Aires, Matias will report to Sandra Conejos, Amino’s Senior Director of Sales and Business Development for the Caribbean and Latin America.
