Crescendo IAD extends the managed portion of the operators’ broadband networks out to individual subscribers’ homes. It consolidates key elements of a voice, video and data service into one convenient device.

Coupled with Entone’s family of IPTV set-top boxes, gateways and media hubs, Crescendo dramatically reduces the cost for operators to install, provision and support residential triple play services.

Crescendo is a high-speed IP residential gateway with integrated ADSL2+, VDSL2 or GPON wide area network interface. It supports HomePNA 3.1 over coax or phoneline. Crescendo provides over 100Mbps of whole-home IP connectivity that supports advanced services including IPTV, room-to-room digital video recorder (DVR), video-on-demand (VOD) and high-speed Internet. IP software includes DHCP management for other devices in the home, Network Address  Translation (NAT), firewall and subscriber self-provisioning.

Crescendo provides one FXS port for connection to standard analog telephones. The FXS port provides ringing voltages, caller ID, pulse/tone dialing and other standard analog phone services while also offering users the benefits of VoIP services.

Whole-home Connectivity

With a built-in ADSL2/2+ modem and router, Crescendo enables high-speed broadband Internet connection across all connected devices.  Internet speed is further enhanced through load balancing while the dual-WAN capabilities ensure network reliability by combining two broadband connections for a redundant Internet connection. 

Crescendo integrates a 4-port 10/100 Ethernet switch and a wireless access point router to give users the flexibility to connect (via wired or wirelessly) an unlimited number of devices throughout the home.

Users can also connect additional storage devices to Crescendo via the USB 2.0 interface to create a shared network storage environment. Crescendo provides users the convenience of accessing and managing their media content from anywhere in the home – enabling a true connected home experience.
