The Amulet IPTV receiver is the latest addition to Entone’s line of cost-effective and compact high-definition (HD) Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) solutions. Amulet is a multi-functional IPTV receiver with MPEG-4 (AVC/H.264) HD capabilities that integrates easily with popular home-networking and broadband services. It also features an optional integrated digital video recorder (DVR) and an optional ATSC/QAM tuner. These robust features enable service providers to increase their subscriber base and generate more revenue by offering enhanced services.

Integrated DVR Functionality
Amulet HD’s internal hard drive option allows service providers to offer advanced services such as DVR without the hassles of installing new equipment. The optional DVR provides up to 400 hours of SD content or 200 hours of HD content. With Amulet HD, operators can now deliver more compelling services and an enhanced user experience to their subscribers.
Flexible Digital Video Compression for Next-generation IPTV Services
Building on Entone’s award-winning and field-proven Hydra™ IP video gateway, the Amulet HD IPTV receiver offers a cost-effective way to deliver HDTV. The advanced MPEG-4 (AVC/H.264) support ensures delivery of high-performance and high-quality video encoding and decoding.
Modular Networking Technologies
With Amulet HD, subscribers can blend and connect a variety of traditional DSL broadband services (FTTP) with rich media services, and extend the capabilities their existing IP home networks. Amulet HD supports a broad range of established home networking technologies such as HomePlug, HomePNA 3.0 and 802.11n to distribute video content throughout the home, including isolated locations. Amulet HD can also connect with a home computer for more content-delivery choices.
